Picture yourself on holiday at the Bailli in the warmth of Provence. The sunbeds around the pool looking out over the sea are an invitation to total relaxation. It’s an ideal getaway where you can marvel at the beautiful Mediterranean, top up your tan to perfection, sip a refreshing cocktail or read a good novel.
The open-air Pool House, the swimming pool restaurant at Le Bailli de Suffren, is highly enjoyable for a light gourmet lunch. The restaurant – which has had a makeover this year – now offers guests the chance to enjoy barbecued delights and colourful salads on the terrace in a fresh, laid back atmosphere.
The à la carte suggestions include a sumptuous artichoke salad, potatoes and grilled octopus or a prawn brochette accompanied by grilled vegetables. And when it comes to cocktails, raise a toast to the holidays with those perennial favourites: mojitos, Spritz, pina colada or designer cocktails such as Lady Breeze (vodka, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, lime and peach syrup) or Cuba Libre Spicy (rum, Coca-Cola, ginger syrup and lime).
After savouring the famous Saint-Tropez tart or a delicious brownie for dessert, take advantage of the board games available in the Pool House and share a fun time with family or friends before a refreshing dip in the pool.
Don’t miss the corner shop days by Noona Illios. A pop-up boutique has been set up at the Pool House to present the summer collection of clothes, jewellery, beach bags and other accessories that are essential for a break at the Bailli with your toes in the water under the Riviera sun. Next dates the store is open: August 5, 12 and 26, 2022.
